Diploma of Aromatherapy (HLT51407)

Course summary

This qualification provides competence in Aromatherapy practice. Covers provision of Aromatherapy treatment to clients with specific needs such as palliative care, aged care, women and children. In depth understanding of a medium range (min 40) of essential oils is expected. Practitioners may be self employed as independent practitioners or may work within a larger health service and supervise others.

Entry requirements

The following compulsory units from Cert IV in Aromatherapy are prerequisites for entry: HLTAR0401A, HLTARO402A, HLTARO403A, HLTARO405A, HLTARO406A, HLTHIR301A, HLTOHS300A, HLTIN301A, HLTCOM404B, HLTCOM406B, HLTFA301B, HLTAP401A.
